Keith R Superdock, MD

Although I have lived in various states throughout the country, I am proud to call South Carolina my home. My family and I enjoy just about everything about it--from the beaches to the mountains--and I feel like the warmth of its people and their charitable nature toward others goes along with our own family values. My wife and I enjoy traveling, quite often to see our children who are now grown and scattered throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. I also enjoy playing golf and soccer, which is something that I did not think I’d be able to do for as long as I have, but I have been blessed with some sturdy joints and a fun group of peers. Of course, I am the first to admit that my mind thinks that I am 30 but my body tells it otherwise! Now and then I run, cycle, or swim, usually with my wife keeping pace with me and inspiring me to keep going. The service aspects of medicine were what first attracted me to Women’s Health and are what still give me great satisfaction. Few people outside of our field can boast that they helped couples achieve their lifelong goals like starting families and becoming parents after years of struggling. I fully appreciate the trust and responsibility that this entails, and always strive to ensure that my patients are graciously treated with respect and empathy because of this. Most days I feel like I am one of the luckiest guys on Earth.

Kacey Eichelberger, MD, currently serves as department chair for obstetrics and gynecology at Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, where she is also a practicing maternal-fetal medicine physician. After receiving a bachelor's degree in social justice and community activism from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, Dr Eichelberger completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She is board certified in both fields by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Clinically, Dr. Eichelberger practices the full scope of maternal-fetal medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, maternal consultation and the management of medically complex pregnancies. She has a particular interest in substance use disorders, health equity and care of LGBTQIA+ families. In addition to her current clinical and advocacy work, she also serves as the site principal investigator for the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development’s maternal-fetal medicine unit network at Prisma Health and as medical director of the Magdalene Clinic, a comprehensive trauma-informed prenatal and addiction care clinic for women with substance use disorder.

Dr. Chapman has been on the High Risk Obstetric faculty of Greenville Memorial Hospital for 25 years serving pregnant patients and their families in the midst of medical complications or fetal concerns. She has interests in prenatal diagnoses and journeying with families through the challenges of preparing for unknown pregnancy outcomes. She enjoys teaching medical students and residents as team members in detailed patient care. Communicating medical information in a clear and understandable fashion is one of her primary focuses.
