The Johns Island Regional Library, opened on October 26, 2004, is the largest of the five regional libraries in Charleston County, boasting a spacious 16,000 square feet. It offers a variety of resources, including nearly 92,000 volumes, DVDs, and music CDs, as well as public computers and WiFi access for the community.
In addition to its extensive collections, the library features an auditorium, a smaller conference room, and a dedicated children's story hour room, catering to the diverse needs of residents from Johns Island, Kiawah, Seabrook, and Wadmalaw. The facility also provides services such as color and black-and-white printing, copying, and notary services by appointment.
