At Prisma Health Pulmonology and Sleep Center, our providers are focused on diagnosing and treating lung-related diseases, providing specialized care for a wide variety of pulmonary conditions. We work to ensure that each patient receives the most efficient and thorough medical treatment possible.

Manuel Izquierdo, DO, is a pulmonologist with special interests in treating cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis. Dr. Izquierdo holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Vidant Health at East Carolina University and his fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is board certified in pulmonary disease and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and also in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. He seeks excellence by putting God and others first.
