James Benjamin Tribble, MD

Harris H. Parker III, MD, FACS, was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and earned his M.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. While in residency he was awarded with the Resident of the Year in 1999-2004 as well as the Outstanding General Surgery Resident Teaching Award in 1999-2003. Dr. Parker joined the practice of Surgical Associates of South Carolina in July 2004 upon completion of his residency. Dr. Parker is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as the Chief of Surgery at Palmetto Health Richland. Dr. Parker performs both general and vascular surgery. His interests include vascular access for dialysis; general laparoscopic surgery; vascular surgery including carotid, aortic, lower and upper extremity arterial surgery; general surgery including hernias, breast, colon, biliary, stomach, skin, and cancer surgery.

Zeid M. Keilani, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, and completed his general surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship training in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is board certified in general surgery. Dr. Keilani is skilled in advanced laparoscopic surgery including gastric, intestinal, colorectal, spleen and adrenal surgery. He specializes in weight loss surgery including laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding, laparoscopic gastric bypass, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, and revisional bariatric surgery. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications in his field, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

David Moffat, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive and metabolic (bariatric) surgery at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina. He practices a wide range of general surgery, including gastrointestinal surgery, foregut surgery, hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. His clinical interests include primary and revision bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery, complex hernia repair and robotic surgery. A native of Columbia, Dr. Moffat completed his medical education at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was recognized as an Outstanding Physician of the Year, and then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. His research interests include outcomes of revision bariatric procedures, robotic surgery and simulation training for surgical residents. Moffat is a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the American Hernia Society (AHS).
