Hotel Hartness’ mission is to serve as the ultimate destination for those looking to experience incredible amenities and a level of service not currently offered in the Greenville market. Sean Hartness, CEO of Hartness, summed it up perfectly when he said at the official unveiling, “I am thrilled to be a part of transforming the Hartness family estate into a destination address that will be enjoyed by both the local community and out-of-town guests for generations to come. The Harnesses' have long been one of Greenville's most prominent families and their homeplace has hosted hundreds of local charity and civic events over the past several decades. In homage to the rich history of the family home, Hotel Hartness incorporates much of the home into its design, including the lobby, great room, lounge, and restaurant areas. The hotel is managed by Hay Creek Hotels. Hay Creek was chosen by Hartness because of their proven passion to provide superior service and inspire excitement within the small, independent hotel sector. These values are driven by the idea that the best hotels are ones that draw on the spirit, culture, and character of their locales. Hay Creek believes that unique, authentic, and locally inspired experiences are key to a well-traveled life. Founded in 2005, Hay Creek Hotels was created specifically to combine the intimacy of a boutique hotel with world-class cuisine, cutting-edge technology, unparalleled guest service, and the exclusive amenities of a luxury inn. Hotel Hartness is Hay Creek's first property in the Upstate of South Carolina. General Manager, Albert L. Very comfortable place to slide in to for some amazing drinks or mocktails. You can also grab some eats but we are coming back for that. Very relaxing and comfortable.
