Step back into time at the starting point of the 1852 Dorn gold mine. Learn how to pan for gold just like the oldtimers did, and you get to keep what you find. For the little ones (or for anyone who just likes pretty rocks), we have gem stones. Open May thru Oct, first and third Saturdays, and the associated Sundays. Sheltered panning area. Group tours available by appointment.
