History

Meg Cardinal moved her hair salon from Pawley's Island to Murrells Inlet in October 2010. Later on, hair stylists Jennie Sheppard and Monica Schneider joined her. They merged their decades of experience together and supplied Murrells Inlet with an education-based, client-oriented salon.

Presenting clients with an atmosphere that has every modern convenience, while maintaining an unpretentious, laid back vibe is our goal. We are located on Old Hwy 17 Business in the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet,a quaint, little town full of history, beauty & colorful characters. Tucked away 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet is a place whispered about by antique collectors, and cherished by art lovers and horticulturists. The Salon and Mercantile is positioned in a multi-use building equipped with parking for retail patrons. Here you will find artwork for sale from local artist, and handcrafted jewelry and crafts.We also carry Purology, Redken, and Kenra Hair care products. We offer a team of highly experienced hair stylists, who bring over two decades of knowledge, and are committed to education, to bring you the very best!
