Bill Stewart joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in July 2020, following a 25-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of CSM. Bill understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. A graduate of Excelsior College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Bill holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Bill serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Bill will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Bill is a member of Association of the United States Army Coastal South Carolina Chapter and the 32nd Cavalry and Armor Association. Bernie Still joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2017, following a nine-year career in the defense industry and a 25-year career in the United States Air Force. During this time, he served as an air battle manager, holding operational and staff positions around the world. A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Master of Business Administration degree and Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance, Bernie received a graduate certificate in Technical Project Management from The Citadel. Bernie is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. An active member of his community, Bernie serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Department of Engineering Leadership and Project Management at The Citadel. He is also the Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church conference president of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, an organization that serves the needs of low-income residents in the Charleston area. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing golf and spending time with his wife and four children.
