Dr. Dane Daley is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, brachial plexus surgery, and congenital hand surgery. He has special interests in targeted muscle reinnervation for patients with painful upper and lower extremity amputations as well as patients with tetraplegia, cerebral palsy, and upper extremity and hand contractures following cerebral vascular accidents or other neurological insults. He also surgically treats the full gambit of orthopedic hand injuries and pathologies from the elbow to the fingertip. Dr. Daley enjoys managing complex upper extremity trauma at our level 1 trauma center and working alongside his orthopedic colleagues for multidisciplinary care. Dr. Dane Daley is an assistant professor and the division chair of the orthopedic hand and microvascular surgery department at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and is joined by his 'partner in crime' Dr. Charles Daly, who is the perfect partner. Together the two cover the upper extremity from the brachial plexus to the fingertip. Dr. Dane Daley hails from Knoxville, TN, and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Maryville College, where he also played football. He then matriculated from East Tennessee State University Medical School. He graduated with his orthopedic surgical residency from MUSC. He completed a prestigious fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC, where his focus was on brachial plexus surgery, targeted muscle reinnervation, and congenital hand deformities, amongst all other aspects of hand surgery. During his fellowship, he spent time in Florianopolis, Brazil, with a world-renowned brachial plexus surgeon. Dr. Dane Daley has continued to lead residents in orthopedic surgical mission work in Bonne Fin, Haiti, and this is a significant focus of his career. He has received numerous awards for research during his academic career and continues to lead orthopedic residents in the field of Hand Surgery. He is the president of the Charleston Hand Society, which entails a quarterly meeting with regional hand surgeons to review all things surrounding hand surgery. Dr. Daley desires to improve the quality of hand surgery provided to patients in the Charleston area.

Dr. David H. Kruchko is a caring board-certified gastroenterologist who is driven by the complexities of patients with gastrointestinal issues. This specialized training allows him to help patients understand the importance and nuances of genetic testing results. He is also well equipped to perform the necessary procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, to help prevent GI-related cancers. Robert Ravinsky, MD

Dr. Robert Ravinsky is a dual-fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeon with clinical interests in adult deformity and adult degenerative conditions, including complex revisions of the cervical and thoracolumbar spine. He is additionally interested in the use of novel technologies and the implementation of minimally invasive surgical techniques. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Ravinsky attended McGill University for his bachelor of science degree, followed by his medical doctorate. He subsequently completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Toronto, followed by fellowships in spinal surgery at Toronto Western Hospital and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also completed a Master of Public Health at Harvard University. Prior to joining the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Ravinsky was in practice for three years in Phoenix, Arizona. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Ravinsky is interested in international medicine, and has ongoing collaborations with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS) in Accra, Ghana where he has volunteered and recently completed a medical mission in February and March of 2022. Dr. Ravinsky is actively involved in research on spinal disorders. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters, and he has presented scientific research at both national and international conferences.

Milton Bryan Armstrong, MD

Milton Armstrong, M.D. is a plastic surgeon with additional training and expertise in hand & microsurgery. Dr Armstrong’s practice includes management of routine hand problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers and arthritis. He has expertise in re-attaching amputated fingers and hands and reconstructing pediatric problems, such as webbing of fingers, duplicated digits, and absent thumbs. He has performed over 2,000 breast reductions, hundreds of body contouring operations, burn repairs with skin grafts and microsurgical reconstructions. His expertise, coupled with that of his practice colleagues, makes MUSC Plastic Surgery the most comprehensive destination for state-of-the-art plastic, hand and reconstructive care. His training includes full training in general surgery (5 years) with an additional 12-month research experience at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in plastic surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine and a one-year fellowship in hand surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine program.
