David Alan Hoenicke, MD

David Hoenicke, M.D., is a board certified family medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his family medicine residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. After residency, he provided full-spectrum family medicine in Sylva, North Carolina for six years before joining an outpatient-only practice in Connecticut. After seven years in Connecticut, Dr. Hoenicke returns to the Upstate to join Riverside Family Medicine. A native of Michigan, Dr. Hoenicke grew up on a farm. An avid athlete, Dr. Hoenike has run 5 full and 10 half marathons in the last eight years. He also enjoys the outdoors in many ways including cycling, kayaking and motorsports. Dr. Hoenicke will provide general family medicine with a focus on preventative healthcare and minor dermatologic procedures.
