Dane Edward Smith, MD

Dr. Stonecypher joined the Easley orthopedic practice after completing his sports medicine fellowship at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. He serves as team physician for Southern Wesleyan University. He grew up in West Columbia, SC. Dr. Stonecypher lives with his wife and 3 young children in Pumpkintown, SC, where his hobbies include cultivating fruit trees and small-scale farming. He is board certified in family and sports medicine. He has expertise in the treatment of athletic injuries and nonsurgical bone and joint disorders with particular focus on: Advanced use of ultrasound for guided injection treatment and for diagnostic evaluation Prolotherapy for treatment of arthritis and tendon disorders Treatment of athletic head injuries and concussions Nonsurgical fracture management

Jay Walls, MD is a physician specializing in hematology and medical oncology at the Prisma Cancer Institute-Upstate. He provides care and treatment to patients with benign and malignant blood disorders. He subspecializes in clotting and bleeding disorders and champions Prisma Health’s efforts at blood conservation. He also treats patients with solid malignancies. Dr. Walls earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Dr. Walls is board certified in his specialties and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society, the Anticoagulation Forum, International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis and the American Society of Hematology.
