History
Columbia Brew Bus is owned by good friends Chris Campbell, Mike de Kozlowski, and Cam Powell. We all met while attending the University of South Carolina here in Columbia and became fast friends through our love of sports, comedy, and especially beer. When Swamp Cabbage announced their launch as the city's third full-production brewery, we saw an opportunity to connect Columbia residents and tourists alike with the budding beer scene in a fun and safe transport method. As our contemporaries from school graduated and left the city without looking back, for one reason or another, we all stayed. Columbia is our home, and we want to provide its residents and tourists with a brand new entertainment option that they can be proud of and not have to travel to other Southeastern cities for a similar experience. We're a company that is passionate about the service we provide and want to help see Columbia's craft beer scene continue to grow. We look forward to seeing you on a tour soon!
Specialties
Columbia Brew Bus aims to tap into the city's growing craft beer community by giving you a chance to visit, taste, and learn about each of the area's breweries in an all-inclusive guided tour bus experience! Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look into how and why Columbia's breweries are making their mark, while cruising in a safe, laid-back manner. Each of our tours will include stops at 3 of our partner breweries: Conquest, River Rat, Columbia Craft, Hunter Gatherer, and Swamp Cabbage. At each stop customers will be able to sample a variety of different styles of beer, receive a guided facility tour from a brewery staff member, and have the chance to buy brewery merchandise and/or growlers and bottles of beer to take home with them before hopping back on the bus to head to the next brewery. Each stop will last about an hour, with a total tour time of about four hours. The tours will pick up and drop off from Liberty Tap Room, our partner restaurant, in Downtown Columbia's Vista. Be sure to visit our website to view all of our different public and private tour options!
