Beaufort Academy

Beaufort Academy is an independent college preparatory school in Beaufort, S.C., with an annual enrollment of 375 students from pre-kindergarten to the 12th grade. The school s library provides materials and services appropriate to the curriculum of the school and implements the media program into the curriculum through collaboration with teachers, students, parents and administrators. Fall festival, Homecoming, Pig Out and Spring Play are some of the annual events of the school. The school offers various societies such as Academic Quiz Bowl, SCISA Art Show, One-Act Play Competition, the Film Club, Jean Ribaut Chapter of the French Honor Society, Beaufort Academy Interact Club, Literary Meet and Contests, The Upper School Math Team, Music Ensemble, National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society and Santa Elena Chapter of the Spanish Honor Society. The Aquila and Seasons of the Pen are Beaufort Academy s annual publications.
