Center Fire Department
Center Fire Department, established in 1965, has been faithfully serving the northern Aiken community for over 50 years. With three strategically located stations covering 80 square miles, including a significant stretch of interstate and one of South Carolina's largest non-towered airports, the department is well-equipped to respond to emergencies. Comprised of approximately 35 dedicated members, including firefighters, junior firefighters, and a ladies auxiliary, Center Fire Department not only responds to emergencies but also actively engages with the community through events and public education.
Center Fire Department is seeking volunteers to join their ranks, as the number of volunteers has declined over the years. By becoming a volunteer firefighter, you can make a significant impact in your community, potentially saving lives and protecting properties. Imagine the difference you could make in an emergency situation, ensuring that help arrives when it is needed the most. Join Center Fire Department and be a part of a team that is committed to serving and protecting the community.
