Catherine Leigh Loflin, MD

Dr. Kelsey Thomas is a Family Medicine physician with experience in providing comprehensive health care to patients of all ages from newborns to seniors. She has a particular interest in the management of Hypertension, Diabetes and Obesity. Dr. Thomas also welcomes minor clinic procedures, including insertion and removal of contraception devices, pap smears, skin biopsies, incision and drainage of abscesses, and cyst excisions. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from St. James School of Medicine in Anguilla in 2017 and completed residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She spent two years in rural Iowa, practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine including Obstetrics Inpatient Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Thomas is Board-Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. She currently holds licensure in the states of South Carolina, Texas and Iowa. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Thomas is a native of Greenville, Mississippi. She is married with two children. In her spare time, Dr. Thomas enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Lawrence Robert "Rob" Wood, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) passionate about providing comprehensive health care services to individuals and families. With a solid educational background and extensive clinical experience, Rob brings knowledge and expertise to his practice. Rob earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Clemson University School of Nursing, building upon the strong foundation laid during his Bachelor of Science in Nursing studies at the same institution. His commitment to excellence in nursing education is reflected in his academic achievements and continues to drive his professional growth. Currently, Rob is a Family Nurse Practitioner at MUSC Health Primary Care-Lancaster, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan. His role encompasses preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and managing various health conditions, emphasizing a holistic approach to health care delivery. Prior to his current position, Rob gained valuable experience as a Nurse Practitioner at Riverview Urgent Care in Rock Hill, SC, and in emergency medicine settings at Emergency Medicine Physicians Springs Emergency Department in Lancaster, SC. His tenure as a Staff R.N. at Springs Emergency Department further enriched his clinical acumen and instilled empathy and compassion for his patients. Rob holds licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina and North Carolina, demonstrating his commitment to meeting the highest standards of professional practice. He is also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in his patients' lives, Rob continues to pursue opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development.
