Cathedral of Praise

Established in 1999, Cathedral Academy is a private, coeducational day school providing educational programs in a Christian environment, and enrolling more than 300 students representing over 60 churches in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s programs emphasize on excellence in academics, character, service, athletics, performing and fine arts, social skills, cultural awareness and computer technologies. Its academic curriculum includes Bible studies, English, fine arts, French, Spanish, Latin, and health and life skills, including weight training and physical conditioning, computer technology and applications, Web site designing, and physical education. Its curriculum also includes American history and the history of ancient, medieval and modern Europe, algebra, geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, calculus, physics, chemistry and biology. The school also offers various extracurricular and sports programs, such as football, volleyball, cross-country, softball, soccer, basketball, track and golf.
