At our Sumter, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

It's well staff and the food is seasoned right all the time. And they don't be in a rush to fix you food and it's right everytime

The girl who took my order was great. The receipt said everything I said. Fish sandwich, no cheese, yes to lettuce, and green beans for the side. How simple. I get home and cheese and 1 freaking...

The wait time in the drive through is the worse. I was the only vehicle and it still literally took over 10 minutes to get my order. I ordered 4piece chicken and 4 piece fish... 10 minutes wait...
