History
Established in 1946 by W. E. Haygood and operated under his ownership until 1968. O.W. Brewer succeeded Mr. Haygood and operated the business until 1978. Roy and Furman Cole purchased operation from Mr. Brewer and have served the local community as a full line paint store including painter sundry items and tools. The Cole brothers used their knowledge of historic restoration to expand the businesses footprint in downtown Charleston.
