Dr. Brown returned to the University of Alabama School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology in 2008. She then served as an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, affiliated with TC Thompson Children's Hospital, specializing in pediatric endocrine disorders.
