Dr. Howes is originally from Michigan and is happy to call Seneca home having worked and lived in the Upstate since 2011. Dr. Howes earned her M.D. degree in 2000 from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. She completed internship and residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Prior to medical school, she received her MS degree in Bioengineering at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Howes prides herself on delivering state of the art radiation therapy in a personalized manner. She treats adults of all ages and has experience with Electron Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Respiration Gating including Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS). She is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
