Food is OK, not spectacular in first class. Service is good, but certainly not as good as other airlines. The fold out beds were great and did allow us to get several hours sleep.

Out of all the airlines I fly, American is by far the worst. I now know why they are a cheaper airline. Two people called out and our flight was delayed and needed to switch flights 3 hours later....

You could actually make your connections. Rude staff that doesn't care about passengers. Always worth the money to go on a different airline.
