Deemed the 'Reptile Capital of the World,' Alligator Adventure offers a full day of family friendly fun in the sun. Situated on a wetland habitat, this park offers visitors an inviting opportunity to explore a huge collection of animals including alligators, crocodiles, lizards, exotic snakes, tropical birds, lemurs, kangaroos, warthogs, wolves, and much more. Visit with Utan, the largest known crocodile in captivity that weighs in at 2,000 pounds and is over 18 feet long.

How to get to Alligator Adventure
Traveling by car, Alligator Adventure is located just off U.S. Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., adjacent to Barefoot Landing. For your convenience, a parking lot is situated just off Barefoot Resort Bridge Road, a short walk from the entrance.

Best and worst and time to go to Alligator Adventure
The best time to visit the park is in the morning when they first open, around 9 a.m. — it's cooler and less crowded. Ticket sales end an hour before they close at 6 p.m., so don't head to the park too late, allow plenty of time to explore the exhibits.

Admission to Alligator Adventure
Adults and children ages 13 and up are $21.99, children ages 4-12 are $16.99, and children under the age of three are free. Seniors citizens are $19.99 and members of the military are $18.99 with proper ID. Prices do not include tax.

Must see/do at Alligator Adventure
Get a prime spot to watch one of the alligator feedings that happen mid-April through mid-October. Hear the loud snap of their jaws echo over the water as a 15 foot alligator springs from its depths to catch its meal. During these feedings, park experts also give informational talks on the different species and their habitat. Like snakes? Another must do activity is the snake handling show in their amphitheater where visitors can see and experience the reptiles up close.

Barefoot Landing is just a short walk from the park. Full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife, this entertainment complex offers a relaxing and family friendly atmosphere.

With paid admissions Alligator Adventure offers visitors a 2nd Day Free Pass, valid for one return admission within seven days from your initial visit. Make sure to get your pass before leaving the park.
