Katelyn Emberton is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2019. Katelyn has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Central Florida and a Master of Social Work from University of South Carolina. Some of the therapeutic interventions Katelyn utilizes include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, solution focused therapy, creative expressive art therapies, strengths based therapy, accelerated resolution therapy, motivational interviewing, and client centered therapy. Katelyn is wholeheartedly committed to empowering her clients by guiding them through the processes of self exploration, learning, and investment in their mental health, which in turn fosters greater resilience and a fuller embrace of their entire selves. Outside of work, Katelyn loves spending time with her loved ones, being outdoors especially near water or simply staying in and relaxing. If her 3 year old Golden Doodle, Ranger, had his way, they would always be on the trails, playing fetch with a tennis ball. She is passionate about learning new things, focusing on her personal growth, and exploring new ideas for hobbies.
