The Woonsocket Railroad Depot, located in Depot Square, was once the bustling transportation center of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Originally built in 1882 for the Providence and Worcester Railroad, the depot is now a beautifully restored brick building that serves as the headquarters for the Blackstone Valley Heritage Corridor.

Surrounded by historic landmarks such as the Longley Building and the Court Street Bridge, the Woonsocket Railroad Depot is a testament to the city's rich history. With its elaborate decorations and prime location, it was considered the finest passenger depot on the Providence Worcester line. What a beautiful charming new england town... Charming old building surround the this historic train station. Today I was here for work as they had the polar express. Many activities for the kids....

Woonsocket depot has no consideration for the surrounding area, the train just sits there running for hours keeping residents awake & the fumes it puts off can be harmful especially to the elderly...
