History
The name Wakin' Up Waggin' was inspired by Max, an Alaskan mutt, who even at the old age of 17 years, while deaf, blind and losing most of his coat, would wake up every morning wagging his tail. His owner and best friend, Tim, was so impressed and moved by his attitude that he made it his motto for life. What happened next was a whirlwind of events: Tim and I (his wife) met in 2012 in Alaska while resucing an orphaned beluga whale, moved to Southeastern CT, married in 2013, opened Wakin' Up Waggin' in June of 2014, and had our first son 1 week later. We are new to the community, but have fallen in love with it, and hope that like Max, we can inspire each of you to start every day with a wagging tail!

Wakin' Up Waggin' brews Dave's Coffee & Espresso and blends healthy smoothies made with real fruit and Greek yogurt. Perfect for before or after a workout OR if you are just wandering around downtown Westerly. Great place to swing by on your way to work; located inside the Westerly YMCA, but open to everyone!
