Walked into Village Hearth Bakery and Café this morning and was greeted with a big smile and a friendly welcome. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a Portuguese roll and it hit the spot....

We are a locally owned and operated bakery & café located in Jamestown, RI. We offer a variety of scratch made pastries, house made bread for our sandwiches, salads and soups (seasonal). We offer a variety of beverages hot and cold from espresso drinks to hot and cold teas, and beer, wine, mimosas and Bloody Marys.

Great little cute cafe with a nice patio with couches or tables. The inside dining area is climate controlled and very roomy. We got here around 1:50pm and we were told the kitchen was closed...

You must absolutely try this place if you are in the area! Our order taker was helpful and courteous. The lineup of bakery items is completely drool worthy! So pretty! I even loved the gear...

When we moved to Jamestown, we knew we'd be living in the area for just a year. Wanting to make sure we didn't miss any highlight in our short time, I'd ask all the locals what were must stops....
