Van Wickle Gates

The Edward Dexter House, located in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island, is a historic 18th-century wood-frame structure built in 1795. Its well-preserved interior served as a template for a museum space designed by the Rhode Island School of Design to showcase a furniture collection donated by former owner Charles Pendleton. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1971, this Georgian and Federal-style house is a significant contributing property in the College Hill Historic District.
