The Museum of Work Culture in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, tells the compelling story of immigrants who came to the region seeking better lives in the mill towns along the Blackstone River. Through nine immersive exhibits, visitors can explore the lives of these immigrants at home, work, and school, beginning their journey in a Quebecois farmhouse and progressing into the workday world of early 20th century Woonsocket.

In addition to its engaging permanent exhibits, the Museum hosts a changing gallery featuring special displays, such as artifacts celebrating Portuguese culture leading up to the annual Day of Portugal. The Museum of Work Culture also serves as a versatile venue for various events, accommodating up to 60 people for sit-down meals and 100 for casual gatherings.
