History

StenTel is the offspring of one of the Northeast's most successful Court Reporting businesses, Catuogno Court Reporting. Founded by Raymond F. Catuogno, Sr. in 1966, the reporting business services all of Massachusetts and Rhode Island with the largest contingent of reporters of any private court reporting company. StenTel began operating in 1990 and incorporated in 1993 in Massachusetts. The company patented its transcription technology and sold it as a franchise to independent business owners across the United States while developing strong ties with its national customer base in the Medical, Insurance, Legal and Law Enforcement industries. With many Fortune 500 companies, major healthcare providers and insurance companies on its client list, StenTel processes hundreds of millions of lines of highly sensitive and proprietary professional information yearly.
