The Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center at Newport Hospital has been providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for decades and is known throughout the region for its unique programs , excellent outcomes and patient-focused care. The inpatient rehabilitation program is designed for patients who require intensive, interdisciplinary rehabilitation services in a hospital setting. The program has been named a Guardian of Excellence award winner four years in a row by Press Ganey Associated for the outstanding patient experience provided.

The Lifespan Cancer Institute at Newport Hospital (in partnership with Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals) provides the most current cancer diagnosis and treatment options for nearly 40 types of cancer. Cancer treatments include the latest chemotherapy, biologic agents, radiation oncology, surgery, and image-guided procedures—many of which are not available elsewhere in New England. Our world-renowned physicians and specialists form multidisciplinary teams whose collective level of knowledge and experience is unparalleled in the region.
