Peter Pan Surfing Academy

History

We originally began operations at the Watershed Surf Shop in 1978, with private and group lessons at the Narragansett Town Beach. This business expanded over the years and took on it's own identity in the late 1980's. The school now teaches surfing classes at Matunuck Point in South Kingstown as well as the Narragansett Town Beach. Our SUP classes are held at Narrow River. For the past decade, we have also run surfing camps during the summer months. Our school is now affiliated with Narragansett Surf and Skate shop in Narragansett, Rhode Island.

Specialties

Private and group surfing and stand-up paddle board instruction, including beach passes, parking, full wetsuits and surfboards and paddle boards. We can handle groups of up to 50 plus. We also run 4-day surfing camps during July and August at the Narragansett Town Beach and Matunuck Point beach. All of our SUP instruction takes place at Narrow River Kayak Center. Our surfing school is certified by the Eastern Surfing Association and the National Surf School Instructors Association, and our SUP school is certified by the American Canoe Association.
