We stopped at this dog park while staying in Newport. While the location is not ideal the size makes up for it. We arrived to an empty park but luckily within 20 minutes there were 4 other dogs....

Dirty dog park, no water, no rinse area. Owners don't pick up after their dogs. We've been to dog parks all over America... for such a wealthy area this is one of the worst we've been to. Go walk...

Friendly fellow dog-owners but the site itself could definitely use some love. ...and/or Newport could use a second fenced dog park. The location is tucked into the interchange so it's super loud...

One of the few places on the island I wouldn't recommend taking your dog. No real problems other than it being extremely dry or muddy given the day with most of the mulch scattered to the corners...
