C&J s two principle shareholders, Jake Jacobsen and Bill Considine, purchased these two long-established jewelry manufacturers in 1993 and 1995, respectively. The group was later expanded with the addition of two other companies: Romac and Crest Craft of Rhode Island. The company employs more than 200 craftspeople. C&J Jewelry is located in Providence, R.I., in a purpose-built industrial unit of 157,600 square feet.
