Narragansett Bay Commission
The Narragansett Bay Commission, also known as NBC, is responsible for the maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure. It operates several treatment facilities that collect wastewater from homes, schools, businesses and industries in Rhode Island. The agency allows customers to access to their bills online. The Narragansett Bay Commission serves the metropolitan Providence and Blackstone Valley areas. It owns, operates and maintains various outlying pump stations. The Narragansett Bay Commission received a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to initiate a technical assistance pollution prevention program within its servicing districts. The agency offers a selection of educational programs for the public and students. It is administered by city of Providence in Rhode Island.
