Camp Aldersgate, spread over 200 acres of land, features a private lake, nature exploration areas, athletic fields, high/low ropes courses and hiking trails. Its wildlife includes deer, wild turkeys, herons, turtles, fish, to name a few. In addition, the camp has quiet spots for meditation and busy spots for games, campfires or walking. It offers a wide variety of facilities, such as old-fashioned tent camping, three-sided shelters, waterfront cabins and lakeside retreat center, among others. Camp Aldersgate has an accreditation from the American Camp Association and is a member of the Rhode Island Association of Camps.
