The Boys & Girls Club of Central Pennsylvania, founded in 1939, is located in Harrisburg, Pa., and serves more than 3,000 at-risk kids. It offers programs and specific guidance-oriented activities including socialization and team building through sports and recreation, vocational motivation through training and job placement, educational motivation through remedial studies and tutoring and individual and group guidance to address special needs and develop specific talents. B&GCCP also offers a range of clubs, such as street smart, kids in control, power hour, family support, fine arts exhibits program, national photography contest, jazz band program, career explorers, job ready, keystone club and junior staff development.

Established in 1964, Jewish Family Service of Greater Harrisburg, ( JFS ), is a full service, non-profit social service agency offering services to any resident in central Pennsylvania, without regard to age, race, religion or creed, sexual orientation or disability. JFS is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services to Families and Children and is part of a nationwide referral network for social services. Our mission is to promote and strengthen healthy family life for the Greater Harrisburg Community. We focus on empowering clients to remain or become active and productive members of the community. Many of our services are offered in-home to provide access to the homebound. Our dedicated volunteers are critical to the success of our organization and are an important component of our in-home services to seniors and physically disabled clients. JFS works to meet the needs of all individuals throughout the life cycle, and we continually refine our programs to adapt to the changing needs of our clients.

Founded in 1979, COBYS Family Services is a Christian agency that offers a range of social services. The agency is affiliated with the Atlantic Northeast District of the Church of the Brethren. Headquartered in Oregon Mill, Pa., it offers adoption and foster care services. COBYS Family Services adoption program is affiliated with the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network. The agency works in partnership with churches, schools, community groups and businesses to offer a range of family life education programs. Additionally, it provides psychiatry services to handle issues related to depression, anxiety and divorce. The agency has a permanency unit that works for children who suffer from drug and alcohol abuse and homelessness. COBYS Family Services is located in Leola, Pa.
