Windy Hill Village is a continuing care retirement community atht offers independent and assisted living and rehabilitation therapy services. The facility also provides assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing and medication. It offers 24-hour long- and short-term skilled nursing care services. Windy Hill Village administers several short-stay skilled nursing care programs. The facility provides services that include Physical, occupational and speech therapies. It offers emotional and spiritual support services to individuals with terminal illnesses. Windy Hill Village operates a health center that offers hospice and respite care services. It is a part of Presbyterian Senior Living, which is a nonprofit organization that offers retirement care services to more than 3,000 residents in over 15 locations in the mid-Atlantic area of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Delaware.

Since the 80th Anniversary of the Bethlen Home in 2001, we've started to compile a database of names and addresses of persons who once lived at the Children's Home. We held reunions in 2001 and 2003. Volunteers provide friendly visits, sometimes staying with the patient while the caregiver is out of the home. They are good listeners who provide emotional and spiritual support, run errands, read to the patient, pray together, help organize family photos and mementos, watch TV together.

Westminster Woods is a nonprofit retirement community that provides skilled nursing care services for senior citizens. Located in Huntingdon, Pa., it offers independent and assisted living programs. The organization provides apartments that feature private suites, sitting rooms, speaker systems and bathrooms. Westminster Woods offers supervision, medication management, family counseling, rehabilitative, hospice and respite care, and physical, occupational and speech therapy services. It organizes various social activities, such as art exhibitions, concerts, recitations and athletic events. The organization offers nursing care services for patients with Alzheimer's disease. Westminster Woods is a part of PHI, which is a nonprofit organization that operates more than 15 communities throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
