Whales Snails & Puppy Dog Tails

We are a licensed, educationally based Child Care Center serving the needs of children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old. We are open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Five of our teachers have 4 year Elementary Education and Early Childhood Degrees and The Director has a Masters Degree. We provide home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch, plus two snacks each day for no additional cost. We provide transportation to and from school and on all field trips in a new Thomas Built school bus. Our Summer Program children go on five field trips per week to places like the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Harrisburg Riverboat, Indian Echo Caverns, Lake Tobias, etc. The Summer Program children also go swimming each week and Dairy Delights Ice Cream after swimming, bowling every other week and Chuck E. Cheese three times over the Summer. All field trips, food and drink are included in the Summer Program price of $175 per week for full time. Our pricing for all age children is in line with our competition, however our price includes meals. We have very strict standards of cleanliness at Whales, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails. You will not smell urine or feces, nor the orange cover up scent typically used by unclean centers to mask odors. We are members of and are trained through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our staff are also trained in fire prevention and CPR/First Aid.
