Since its founding in 1995, the Dunbar Historical Society's mission has been to provide an avenue to discuss, discover, collect and preserve any material that will establish and illustrate the history of Dunbar.

The Historical Genealogical Society of Indiana County, located in Indiana, PA, is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage and history of the Indiana community. Through a variety of activities, the Society promotes a greater appreciation of the area's past and a better understanding of life today. Housed in two iconic buildings, the Grand Victorian Silas M. Clark House and the former National Guard Armory, the Society's artifact and archival collections are open to the public for tours.
