Harry and Sigmund Weis founded Weis Markets in 1912, when they opened a small neighborhood store known as Weis Pure Foods on Market Street in Sunbury, Pa. This business offered fresh mushrooms that when the container was opened they were obviously frozen. You can't freeze mushrooms. Spoke to the store manager and he really didn't seem to care...
