Valley View Nursing Center

The Valley View Nursing Center, located in Montoursville, Pa., offers skilled nursing care to more than 180 residents for various levels of medical needs. The center provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. The Valley View Nursing Center has physical therapists that assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and dining. The therapeutic recreation department at the center offers various extracurricular activities to its residents, such as shopping trips, plays at local colleges and community center, fishing trips, the Christmas programs, crafts, games and fitness programs. It also organizes large group activities, such as bingo, church services, musical entertainment, Bible study and weekly socials. The center also has social workers that solve problems of residents and serve as patients advocates.
