Valley Forge Arch is a national memorial located in Wayne, Pennsylvania, commemorating the arrival of General George Washington and the Continental Army into Valley Forge. Designed by Paul Philippe Cret, the arch is a simplified version of the Arch of Titus in Rome and serves as a national tribute to General Washington and the army he led.
In 1911, construction of the arch began and it was dedicated on June 19, 1917. The arch was originally part of a plan for two arches, but only one was approved and built. Today, Valley Forge Arch stands as a significant historical landmark, symbolizing the resilience and sacrifice of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.

Nice historical spot to visit and catch a walking or biking trail and bring a picnic. Dog friendly. Bathrooms near visitor center and store. Parking lot and side parking available.
Everything at Valley Forge is pretty spread out, but the arch is a must-see part of the park. The arch is absolutely huge and contains some great architecture.
A beautiful place to take a moment and remember our history and the lives lost. A spot for a beautiful picture with the flag through the arch.
