The Children's Home of Reading provides a treatment-oriented residential environment for children and teenagers, as well as community-based services in Reading, Pa. Its services include employment assistance, family planning, nutrition and health care education. It offers a variety of anti-drug programs, including community-based tobacco control program and drug free community. It offers a rehabilitation center for drug addicts designed to reduce the use of ecstasy and other drugs among youth. It also provides a nursing program for low-income pregnant women. Headquartered in Reading, Pa., the organization conducts training programs for conflict resolution and sexual harassment.
