Founded in 1965, Herley Industries is a supplier of radio frequency, microwave and millimeter wave components and subsystems to the defense and aerospace industries. The company s customers include the United States government. Herley s products include radars, flight instrumentation, weapons sensors, electronic warfare systems and guidance systems. In February 2005, Herley acquired Micro Systems, a company engaged in the engineering, design and manufacturing of command and control systems for operation and tracking of unmanned aerial, seaborne and ground targets and missiles. The company s operations consist of two product groups, Defense Electronics and Commercial Technologies. Herley Industries is headquartered in Lancaster, Pa., and operates nearly 10 production facilities throughout the U.S.
