HistoryNetPrivateer started out as Sonon Consulting in 2003 and then was reformed into a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in 2004 operating under the name NetPrivateer. The company hired its first employee in 2004 and grew to a staff of seven by 2009. Economic decline resulted in NetPrivateer downsizing its staff in 2010. Growing demand over the past few years has caused NetPrivateer to begin adding to its staff again. Over the past ten years, NetPrivateer's customer base has grown from a handful to over 200 satisfied customers. In the beginning, NetPrivateer primarily offered LAN / WAN consulting services but has since expanded its operations to include a wide range of data networking and network security technologies.
