1830 E Carson St
Pittsburgh, PA 15203
Located at 19th & East Carson Street in a small storefront in the heart of South Side's Historic District, The Pub Chip Shop is a mostly traditional take on an English takeaway Fish & Chip Shop and Savoury Bakery. The Chip Shop portion of our menu is stacked with traditional UK favorites - dipped-to-order beer battered haddock or shrimp, crisp hand-cut chips, Beer Battered Mars Bars and Scotch Eggs, to name a few. For the non-traditionalists - Cornmeal Crusted Oysters and house-made meat alternative Seitan or maybe you'd like to try a Ripper or a White Chapel? Mushy peas, Welsh Cheddar Mac & Cheese and Seafood Chowder are a few of our house made sides. Not to be outdone, The Pub Pie Shop keeps our pie case stocked with all sorts of fresh baked deliciousness. Pressed English-style meat and non-meat Savoury Pies, hand made Pasty, Sausage Rolls, fresh baked Baps for all of our sandwiches and a few sweet treats. Our bakery offerings range from the traditional - Cornish Pasty, Scotch or Steak & Ale Pies to the slightly Americanized Pierogi Pasty and Vegan Vindaloo Lentil Pie. All of our bakery items are made from scratch with only the freshest ingredients and baked fresh daily. All bakery items can be purchased ready to eat straight from the case or can be packed up for you to reheat at home.
