Founded in 1982, the Midwife Center for Birth & Women's Health is southwestern Pennsylvania's licensed and accredited freestanding birth center that offers woman gynecological, prenatal care and childbirth services. The center houses three themed birth suites, each with its own bathroom with a Jacuzzi, three examination rooms and administrative offices. The Midwife Center for Birth & Women's Health also has a video and book library. The centre offers classes in birth center orientation, childbearing essentials, breastfeeding, refresher and infant care.
