The Meadows Original Frozen Custard began in the summer of 1950 when J.V. Richard and Delbert Meadows opened a small custard stand in Duncansville, PA, quickly becoming a local sensation with lines of over fifty people. Now a recognized tourist attraction, the original location remains operational under the ownership of Dick Jay and Joel Meadows, sons of Delbert, while additional franchised locations continue to spread the beloved frozen treat across several states.

Glorious, unassuming, refreshing frozen custard off the highway. I'm so glad we stopped here while our car was charging nearby. Really nice service too! Beware the small is really large!
