The Meadows Original Frozen Custard began its journey in the summer of 1950 when J.V. Richard and Delbert Meadows launched a small custard stand in Duncansville, PA, quickly attracting large crowds and establishing itself as a local favorite. Now regarded as a tourist attraction, the original location remains operational, serving the same beloved recipe that has contributed to its enduring success.
With over 25 locations across six states, The Meadows continues to delight customers with its commitment to quality and a diverse menu of frozen custard offerings. The brand has expanded through franchising, allowing individual owners to share the iconic flavors that have made The Meadows a beloved destination for dessert enthusiasts.

Always a beloved treat for me (local) and my out-of-state relatives who visit for the Labor Day Holiday.
The place is good. And I really like the mini golf course and batting cages. But the ice cream (it's good but not the best)
They are a great family operated business. Bring much enjoyment to the area and people that move away always make sure when they come back to the area that is one of their stops!
The Meadows Delicious options! Friendly Staff! Love the 50's Diner vibe. Wish we had these in California!
