The Hillside School

Founded in 1983, The Hillside School is a nonprofit educational institution that serves children with learning disabilities. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade six. Its staff includes speech therapists, physical education teachers, art and music specialists, counselors, librarians and computer technology instructors. The Hillside School provides education in subjects, such as mathematics, social studies, language arts and science. The school s physical fitness curriculum includes individual activities and team sports. Additionally, it conducts workshops and summer programs. The Hillside School also organizes auctions and golf tournaments to support school s scholarship programs. Located in Macungie, Pa., the school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
